About DFP
Filtration is the whole business.
After just over a decade in filtration, I started Defense Fluid Power to build the supplier I always wanted on the other end of the phone: straight answers, the best product we can source, and someone who'll tell you when the element isn't your real problem.
Help first, educate second, sell third. It's a slower way to run a parts business and a better way to keep a customer.
Most of what we do starts with a part number and a machine that isn't running. Sometimes the answer is a cross. Sometimes the answer is that the element is doing its job and something upstream isn't. Either way, you'll hear which one it is.
What we supply
Filter elements, process cartridges, housings, and breathers, plus the equipment that moves, dries, and polishes oil: filter carts, kidney loops, vacuum dehydrators, and custom built conditioning skids. Elements and equipment are specified by the same team that quotes them, so nobody is coordinating four vendors to keep one reservoir clean.
Two ways to start
Send us the number off the old element and we'll cross it. Or send the application instead: fluid, flow, temperature, operating pressure, and the cleanliness code you have to hold. We'll size the equipment around it. Either way you're talking to people who know which of those details changes the answer.
If you can't find it
Search by the number you already have. If it isn't on the site, send it to us anyway. We can source well beyond what's listed, and the catalog is still growing.
Behind the storefront
A filtration team and field service: on-site support, system audits, application consulting, and condition monitoring. If the element is a symptom of something upstream, that's a conversation worth having before you buy another one.
Talk to us
We're a small team in Michigan. Send us a part number, an application, or a question you're not sure how to ask yet.
